Abstract
After the Spitak earthquake on December 7, 1988, the Bavrian earthquake on February 13, 22 hours
25 minutes local time, with a magnitude o f MS= 5.4 and an intensity at the epicenter o f 10=7 points, was the
second with such intensity, lasted quite a long time due to strong aftershocks.
The epicenter of the earthquake was located on the northwestern flank of the Spitak source zone.
People were very frightened and came out to the streets and spent the whole night on the streets away from
